This policy covers information collected through this website, through the LP Portal, through investor onboarding, and through any other interaction with the firm.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that is necessary to operate the firm's business, comply with applicable law, and serve our limited partners. This includes: identification information (name, date of birth, taxpayer identification number, government-issued identification); contact information (postal address, email, telephone); financial and investment information (net worth, income, source of funds, investment objectives, subscription amounts, capital account balances, distributions); employment and professional information; information required for know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering screening; and technical information about your use of our website and the LP Portal (Internet Protocol address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, timestamps).
3. How We Collect Information
We collect personal information directly from you when you communicate with us, complete an investor questionnaire, subscribe to a fund, log into the LP Portal, or otherwise interact with the firm. We also collect information from third parties, including identity verification providers, sanctions and politically-exposed-person screening services, credit reporting agencies, public records, and your authorized representatives.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to: evaluate prospective investments and investor relationships; administer subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, and tax reporting; conduct know-your-customer, anti-money-laundering, and sanctions screening; communicate with limited partners and counterparties; manage and improve the website and the LP Portal; comply with applicable law and regulatory requirements; investigate and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and other prohibited activity; and pursue the firm's legitimate business interests in operating the platform.
5. Sharing of Information
We share personal information only as needed to operate the firm and serve our limited partners. Recipients may include: the firm's affiliates and personnel; the firm's fund administrator, auditor, legal counsel, tax adviser, and other professional service providers; banks and custodians holding fund assets; identity verification and screening providers; portfolio companies, when relevant to the investor relationship; regulators, courts, and other government authorities when legally required; and acquirers or successors in the event of a corporate transaction involving the firm. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for third-party direct marketing purposes.
6. International Transfers
Slate Blue Capital is headquartered in the United States. Personal information collected from limited partners and visitors located outside the United States may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and in other jurisdictions where the firm or its service providers operate. We take appropriate measures to ensure that international transfers are conducted in accordance with applicable law, including the use of contractual safeguards where required.
7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, satisfy regulatory and tax recordkeeping obligations, and resolve disputes. Investor records, subscription documents, and related materials are retained for the periods required by the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Bank Secrecy Act, and applicable state and non-U.S. laws.

The firm maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. Security controls are described in the firm's Cybersecurity Policy. No security program is perfect; you should take reasonable precautions to protect your own credentials and devices.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of information that is no longer necessary; restrict or object to certain processing; and request portability of information you provided to us. 10. California Residents
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what categories of personal information the firm has collected, sold, or disclosed; the right to delete personal information; the right to correct inaccurate information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. The firm does not sell personal information as defined by California law.
11. Children
The firm's website and services are directed at investors and counterparties who are not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of sixteen. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact the Chief Compliance Officer and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Cookies and Analytics
The website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and measure usage. Strictly necessary cookies are used for security and session management. Analytics cookies are used to understand aggregate website traffic. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies; doing so may limit certain features of the website. The firm does not use cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising.
